Two dead in helicopter crash on Camp Pendleton
Two people are dead after a Cobra helicopter crashed at Camp Pendleton Monday afternoon, San Diego Fire-Rescue officials reported.

The crash was reported at 1:34 p.m. in a training area near Ammunition Road, San Diego Fire-Rescue spokesman Maurice Luque said.

The crew members onboard the AH-1 attack helicopter from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing were pronounced dead on scene by emergency responders, the Marines said.

Camp Pendleton fire department and emergency services worked Monday afternoon to contain a small brush fire that ignited from the crash in the southeast corner of the base, near Fallbrook.

Odd tingly, a cobra is a MILITARY chopper.. are we changing reporting to avoid the these are service members? Or were these NOT service members?

2. My son's base.
Condolences to the families and friends. You always think they'll be safe stateside. Fate can be a cold-hearted bitch.

I can't click the link so I don't know what your questioning. If I get your meaning, it sounds like just subpar reporting and nothing conspiracyish. Plus, they would still be a "crew" whether they were military or civilian, if that was the line you were referring to.
