2. Oh Jeez. How about some optimism. He's not going to do it if no one is on his side.
We better get behind Obama on this. THIS may be the fight of our lifetime.

4. I'll support him when he gives me a reason to do so
I already feel like a sucker for voting for him. If he wants support, he needs to do something to earn it.

6. He's the CiC
giving reasons is his job. If he's unwilling to do that, you should be taking issue with him, not me.

16. So he's done nothing to give you a reason to support his great proposals?
Does that even make sense?! HERE, he's doing something for you to support! Time to get behind him on this!

18. I'll say it again:

I didn't support neocon-BushCo policies when * was in office, and I'm sure as hell not going to support them just because there's a guy with a (D) in front of his name there now. Obama has continued numerous PNAC policies, and in fact gone to court to defend the Bush Doctrine, and I simply will not support that.

Beyond that, I don't see his proposals as 'great'. I see them as triangulated, so-called Third Way BS, and they're not going to do diddley to fix the problems we're experiencing, in my opinion.

21. That's all fine and well, but again, HERE is now something to support.
I mean, unless you hate the guy, then I guess this is pointless.

23. it has nothing to do with 'hating'
it's not an emotional thing. It's reality-based thing, that is, more practical.

Nevertheless, I'm a populist at heart, and support TRULY populist policies. I don't see much of that coming from the Obama Admin.

7. I am a big supporter, but I want President Obama to draw a line in the sand.
Use the power of his branch to work around republicans. Stop looking first to compromise, because republicans have no intention of doing that, even when compromise is best for the country and is what a true patriot would do.
