debt collector for medical bills.- Is there any lower scum than owners of debt collection companies that collect from people who owe money for being sick. I can't think of one.

1. Of course, the people in charge ($) of debt collection aren't the ones doing the collecting.

It's doubtful that anyone endeavours to have a career in the debt collection industry; the people making the calls may be in circumstances not unlike those of the people they have to call.

people who can't pay their bills? Many have no choice, but others intentionally choose to go uninsured and leave massive bills behind for others to pick up.

There are always many sides to a story.

Our president, showing true leadership and vision, decided to tackle this problem, but was met by charges of treason and communism! from one side and "it doesn't go far enough" from the other.

4. Your debt collector is probably a college kid working at a call center like Dial America. Its the

collection agencies, the credit agencies, and their lobbyists and the congressmen they buy who are the scum.

I worked at a call center for a while, but I sold customers more debt rather than collected it. I would feel like crap at the end of each day.

everything will believe, well, anything really. Not every company with more than 100 employees is just sitting on $ billion stacks of cash, you know. Hospitals/medical providers included.
