But for whom nowadays? I'm watching the movie right now that i recorded on my DVR about 2 Christmases ago and when i was a kid i never understood the premise of the movie until i got older. Now when i watch it, it was just really about how banks can take over and screw everybody without a care in the world.

I look at it like this, Potter is the repuke in this movie and wants to control everything and will destroy whoever to get it. George on the other hand is the Liberal and helps others in need and saves some of their lives from either death or despair.

I went to wikipedia to read about the history of the movie and the criticism about it being propaganda against the bankers. Well heres the truth. IT'S FUCKING DEAD ON TRUE. Look at our country now and you tell me that we haven't been screwed over and over again by wall street and the big bankers along with the corporations.

Propaganda my ass, also since we're talking about this movie, watch Mr Smith goes to Washington and you tell me if that isn't true either. But this is the way i see it as.
