I'd hope it would be a big part of the election next year but I fear whoever gets the GOP nomination will declare the world ends at 'Merica's borders.

2. Not really. Because then there would be a debate about the roles of the NAU Central Banc and courts

and things like that

3. When we were in trouble in Canada in the 1990s we could lower our dollar

and get out of trouble. That is the issue now with Europe. The poor countries all bought into the euro so when they hit tough times they can't get out of it by devaluing. I would think because of the euro fiasco more countries would be less likely to do a common currency than before.

provided we get to leave fairly large chunks of the Continental US behind.
