Weather Warnings For A 'Climate Changed Planet'
An important interview I heard, Heidi Cullen's book about the long-term effects of on all of us seems to me very important. Link includes interview with the author.

'This summer of record breaking heat followed a spring that brought some of the most extreme weather on record. Climatologist Heidi Cullen writes, "It's time to face the fact that the weather isn't what it used to be."

Cullen is the author of the book The Weather of the Future: Heat Waves, Extreme Storms, and other Scenes from a Climate Changed Planet, which has just been published in paperback. She's a senior research scientist with Climate Central, a journalism and research organization.'

4. It is, even though I will probably not live long enough to
see the worst, I feel it is my duty to the younger generation to do my part.

6. Me too (tho this year's been pretty bad, worldwide.)
Daughter just married, and I am very concerned about life for my descendents.

10. The mebaggers can't see the consequences of their actions.
They are intellectual adolescents.

8. Excellent post.
Very informative.

I feel that Georgia has certainly undergone a dramatic change in climate over the past 5 years.

I really feel we've passed a tilt-point in climate change and expect dramatic change, even
frightening change, to become undeniable soon.

Thanks for the post!
