Sunday Talk Shows
Meet The Press - Pres. Bill Clinton, Sen. McConnell

Bill Clinton joins us Sunday to talk about the CGI. One of the main issues? Jobs, jobs, jobs. What does he think about Obama’s $447 billion jobs plan? And, as Republicans battle it out for the nomination, who does the seasoned campaigner see as the president’s toughest competition?

The politics behind the president’s jobs plan: With the election on the horizon, both sides are unwilling to give an inch. Can Democrats unite behind the president’s plan and is it politically smart for Republicans to oppose it? Plus, the latest on the race for the White House in 2012. Joining us, Former Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D-MI), Republican strategist Alex Castellanos, Senior political analyst for TIME Magazine, Mark Halperin and Helene Cooper

ABC This Week - Former President Bill Clinton.

As he prepares for the seventh annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative, former President Bill Clinton talks with "This Week" anchor Christiane Amanpour. At the top of his agenda: jobs, jobs, jobs.

With 14 million people unemployed in the U.S. and some 205 million unemployed worldwide, what are the solutions for the global jobs crisis? Can President Obama get his jobs plan through Congress? Does the former president see a way for the White House to work with Republican lawmakers? And what does he see as the clearest path to a second term for Obama?

And as Palestinians push for statehood, can former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, in his role as Middle East envoy, avert a confrontation at the United Nations? After last week's attacks on its embassy in Egypt, and a season of upheaval in the Arab world, how will Israel navigate growing tensions in the region? And what is in store for a post-Gadhafi Libya? Tony Blair, only on "This Week."

Plus, Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt on what it will take to get this economy going again. When will there be a meaningful jobs recovery? Can the tech sector bring America back? Google's Eric Schmidt in a "This Week" exclusive.

Finally, this week's release of the Jacqueline Kennedy tapes brought new insights into Camelot and the JFK presidency. Our roundtable with George Will, Cokie Roberts, ABC News senior political correspondent Jonathan Karl and presidential historian Michael Beschloss looks at the first lady's reflections on President Kennedy's leadership, and what makes a great president.

And can President Obama sell his jobs plan? Is the loss of Anthony Weiner's seat in a liberal district an ominous sign for Democrats in 2012? And who came out on top in the latest GOP debate? That plus all the week's politics, Sunday on "This Week."

CBS Face The Nation -Bill Clinton; Dick Cheney

We’ll ask Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin and Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. Plus, former Congressional Budget Office directors Alice Rivlin and Douglas Holtz-Eakin discuss the impact the jobs plan will have on the troubling economy, as well as the latest recession worries.

Then, we switch gears and talk about the President's even more challenging week ahead as he travels to New York for the U.N.'s General Assembly. How will the U.S. relations with Israel and the world be impacted as Palestine vows for statehood from the UN? Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren and Palestinian Chief Representative to the U.S. Maen Areikat talk about Palestine's quest for more international recognition.

1. One of these Sundays I wish the know-it-all
media outlets would open their doors, go outside and drag in some people off the street. Now that would be something to watch. They really need a new George Will.

4. I stopped watching Sunday political shows because I already know what the repigs will say
If I were as good at predicting what other people will do, I'd be making as much as that Long Island psychic.
