2. Depression kills people
A person in good mental health would have told the bank "Because you refuse to negotiate with me, you'll wind up getting no more money. That's your problem. Fuck it, I'm going bowling."

4. The Greek bankers must've forgotten the parable about the unforgiving slave...
What a world the greedy have wrought over the millenia.

Thessalonika was a center of resistance to the fascists during World War 2. They're still resisting.

6. Desperate measures for desperate people. Why does it have to come to this?
The world is really fucked up right now, and it just keeps getting worse. Where are the solution people when you need them.

This is very sad.

7. I'm frankly surprised he didn't set the bank on fire. Lot of people firebombed banks in the 1930s nt

8. Shouldn't it
be the other way around. Man sets bank on fire? Well...late at night when no employees are there.

13. I'm starting to think a global revolution against Wall St. is the ONLY option.
Edited on Sat Sep-17-11 01:34 PM by Initech
400 billionaires aren't gonna stand up to the whole world, no matter what private army they use. Wall St. is the worst thing to happen to humanity. We need to put aside our differences, band together, and stand up to these motherfuckers. It's the only way.

15. It reminds me of the Tunisian fruit vendor who started the Arab Spring
...when police confiscated his produce scale to require a bribe. Commodities "traders" have been driving up the price of food all over the world, including here, in the face of crop failures from climate change.
