2. Aid workers say very candidly that our presence is what's keeping the level

of violence going. If we leave, they'll go back to being their corrupt but relatively inoffensive selves. The Taliban won't be welcomed back as dictators because people know who and what they turned out to be, although they're likely to form at least part of the government.

With bin Laden gone, it's highly unlikely the training camps will be restarted there. All those seem to have moved to Yemen.

We need to declare victory and get out NOW. The mission is accomplished and we're leaving the country marginally better than we found it, with at least some repairs of what the Russians wrecked and we pulverized started.
