New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch says Route 302 will reopen Saturday, more than a week ahead of schedule.

The highway was damaged by the remnants of Hurricane Irene last month. Lynch announced the highway's opening Friday before joining tourism and transportation officials on a bus tour of the Kancamagus Highway.

Lynch said state transportation staff, private contractors and other state agencies worked to repair Route 302 and the Kancamagus Highway in time for fall foliage season.

He said their efforts mean the public can enjoy the breathtaking foliage views without having to deal with road closures.

We're going to visit Vermont next year - you deserve no less.

Bravo :applause:

2. BSNBC FAIL.
The road in question is in New Hampshire, not Vermont. :dunce:

You'd think a cable news network would know where Hart's Location is. It's one of two New Hampshire hamlets (the other is Dixville Notch) that traditionally cast all their primary ballots just after midnight on Election Day, so they can be the first in the country.
