Is carville still a democratic strategist, and if so why. I have a lot of issues with Obama,
however, this piece of garbage, carville, is no democrat. No democratic strategist would air our "dirty laundry" in public if he really cared for the party. This freak is either out to sell a book, or join his jerky wife to make the Democrats look as bad as possible

http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/311574

In the same breath bloomberg is reporting that supposedly people wish Hillary was in there now instead of Obama. Another worthless statement

The irony is that much of the criticism that carville voices in the public arena, are due to the advisors from the clinton administration

I am really tired of blowhards like carville and nader, who are both essentially has beens either trying to make publicity or sell a book

1. What 'dirty laundry' was aired?
It is all public knowledge.

3. Carville loves this country, loves our Constitution, cares about the environment
You may not like what he says but he is a very intelligent man.

Bookmark your OP here. Keep it and the look again after November 2012.

Carville is WARNING us. He has the perspective to see which way we're headed. Democrats may well be headed in the wrong direction. We have been in an economic crisis since at least 2005. Katrina was more than a hurricane. It may have been a big indicator of what was going wrong. James carville recognised the government having been absent when we needed it because of the misguided oil grabbing war centered in Iraq.

8. I disagree, he is an opportunist, married to a cheney advisor, who I would never trust. There is no
question Obama screwed up, but it was because he appointed mostly ex-clinton advisors

As far as his insight, it doesn't take this loud mouth to add on to what has already been told to this administration by a lot of more credible people, with more discretion

Did Carville Tip Bush Off to Kerry Strategy (Woodward)

By M.J. Rosenberg | bio

On page 344, Woodward describes the doings at the White House in the early morning hours of Wednesday, the day after the '04 election.

Apparently, Kerry had decided not to concede. There were 250,000 outstanding ballots in Ohio.

So Kerry decides to fight. In fact, he considers going to Ohio to camp out with his voters until there is a recount. This is the last thing the White House needs, especially after Florida 2000.

-snip

"Carville told her he had some inside news. The Kerry campaign was going to challenge the provisional ballots in Ohio -- perhaps up to 250,000 of them. 'I don't agree with it, Carville said. I'm just telling you that's what they're talking about.'

-snip

While I agreed with his points yesterday (fire, indict, & fight) I believe his motives are less than admirable. I think he is attempting to undermine Obama to further his neo lib positions. How could he be a true Dem and could he stay with that witch of a neo con woman?

4. I dislike carville as much as the next guy but
this article is a really unfair characterization of what he said.

The original article made a lot more sense than the selected quotes in that link.

Try this one in which he urges Obama to fire some of his advisors and indict a few bankers to show voters he is serious about reform:

9. bloomberg and other media sources are using the unfair characterization as you put it. My argument
is that if he really cared he should be telling this to the administration directly, instead of a public forum
