Holy Shit !!! - Video/Article On Joe McGuinness On Sara Palin (Just Shown On Lawrence)

<snip>

Before he even wrote a word about Sarah Palin, best-selling author Joe McGinniss was generating headlines just for being her next-door neighbor in Alaska.

Turns out that having an inquisitive neighbor was just the tip of the iceberg for Palin now that details from McGinniss’s bombshell-filled book, “The Rogue,’’ have been released. The best-selling political author did not mince words in an exclusive interview with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie on Thursday about his 318-page takedown of the former vice presidential candidate in which he interviewed approximately 200 of Palin’s former acquaintances, associates and friends during his four months renting the house next door to Palin in Wasilla, Alaska.

In the book, McGinniss intimates that Palin’s marriage may not be on solid ground, depicts her as using her children as props for her political and reality television career, writes of a salacious encounter with a former professional basketball star, and claims that she and her husband have snorted cocaine. That’s in addition to dismissing her as a politician.

“An utter fraud,’’ McGinniss said of the former governor. “An absolute and utter fraud.’’ As for his calling Palin a “tenth-grade mean girl,’’ McGinniss said that was practically high praise compared to how those in Wasilla described the Fox News pundit. “Those were kind words compared to a lot of what you would hear in Wasilla today,’’ McGinniss said. “The thing that I found, Savannah, that really surprised me was that the people who know her best like her least.’’

7. Please edit out the very unnecessary sexist term...
Yes, she's a bad person. Misogyny is not appropriate here. Derision of women for having sex, is something the RW hypocrits do. And a woman who has a healthy consensual sex life is NOT a "slut."

5. Why do we even need to know this?
Maybe what he says is true, maybe not. I don't care and I don't think many do either. It will just allow her to further play the victim card again, which is probably about the only thing she does well.

14. Because she and her followers claim moral superiority. And she's been peddling hate since she's
been on the scene. And she quit her job as governor to get more money selling her "real American" image.

I wonder what this will do to her trademarked name. lol

10. He had to get this book out just before she vanishes from the radar
screens and becomnes as relevant as the Dixon-Yates scandal. Still it might be an interesting read.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. In fact, it is exactly what I would have predicted!

12. I heard an interview with McGinniss a few days ago on CBC
He said that he really had nothing against Palin and hoped she'd cooperate. And he had no political motive. But of course, she turned him down. She had to control EVERY interview and unless it was scripted and approved by her, she said no.

He did say something interesting, though. He said there was a real fear among people in Wasilla about saying bad things about Palin. People lost their jobs sometimes, saying the wrong thing about her in Wasilla.

He said he had to go to Alexandria, Egypt to get a candid interview with someone who knew her in Wasilla.
