So if gov Perry can't be bought for $ 5,000....
in fact he is offended when it was offered by congressperson Bachman that he could be bought for $ 5,000.

This begs the question, how much would it take to "buy" gov Perry...

2. $6,000.00
I read a fact check on his counter argument where he asked rhetorically about being bought for $5,000.00, and it turns out he actually received $6,000.00.

So, one has to wonder if he understated the amount by $1,000.00 because he had in fact held out for--and received--$6,000.00.
