SSDI payment amount question

Looks like I might have ALS & have to apply for SSDI. I know 5 month wait before 1st payment. Trying to plan & wondering if anyone could ballpark what I'd get. I probably threw out the info they sent. I'm 59. Worked 40 years. Age 62 retire would've got 1800+ a month. Age 67 2200+ a month. Any idea what SSDI would pay me now?

Be best to look it up somewhere if possible, but I believe you would get whatever you qualify for at full retirement age based on what you have accumulated at this point. The amount they state on what they send out is based on what you would receive at full retirement if you continued to earn at your present income rate til retirement age....
when I became eligible that is what I was told it would be.
