Do you feel confident there is at least one Liberal Ideal that is safe with this Administration?
I would like some reassurance because I don't feel there is any Progressive Ideal or Policy that is safe under this Administration and Democratic Senate...

1. A majority of the Senate are not progressives
nor is President Obama- at least not as DU defines progressivism.

Communist Witch hunts are probably gone for now.

6. Apparently everything has to be on the table because that's what compromise is all about: proposing
something, and then detailing what you're willing to give up -- above and beyond your original proposal -- before the other group even reacts to what you're saying.

12. Yeah: they think they can do well in Liberal, Kansas by constant caving to conservative Rethugs.
But that "Liberal" idea is wrong. ;-)

13. Not a one, not even the ones that can be taken without
Congress. Witness the shameful ditching of tougher clean air standards.

I am increasingly convinced that this President would willingly sign his own (literal) death warrant in the name of "bipartisanship" were it presented to him.
