And push for recall elections like they did in Wisconsin.

They want to effectively have a coup, we need to make it politically very painful for them.

There won't be another non-GOP president for decades if they get away with it.

1. Hey, I live in PA! What can I do?
I heard about this last night. I am so disgusted by the media that plays along with the neocons and acts like "It's just another story folks, no big deal". Well, this is a BIG story.

8. Call your county Democratic Central Committee
find out where the clubs are and volunteer within the party. Express your concerns to them and find out what the politicos of our party say. We do have strategists, even if we act like cats unwilling to be herded.

Welcome to DU! :hi:

4. We don't have a recall option.
Only 19 states have recall provisions and PA is not one of them. We're really fucked if they decide to go through with it.

9. Then the courts are our only option
Need democrats in winner-take-all red states to claim disenfranchisement.

12. That would mean Republicans in huge blue states like NY and CA
could claim the same thing. The claims of either would go nowhere because the electoral college is part of the Constitution -- there fore it can't be unconstitutional.

13. Yes. They have the House, the Senate and the Governorship.
They can do anything they want. There is talk of going to "right to work" status, eliminating or decimating the public unions as they've done in Wisconsin and Ohio, subjecting welfare recipients to drug testing, voter id and a host of other fascist bullshit. And all while allowing the frackers to destroy the environment tax free. It's a disgrace.

Pretty much the only option, I think.
