2. Obama doesn't appear humble and submissive to me
that strikes me as an odd thing to say about him.

The weird thing about Obama to me is that from the very beginning, when I first started hearing about him in Chicago, people are constantly saying things about him that made me think, "i'm not seeing that."

A recent example is Halperin's "dick" comment. A lot of commentary about that overlooked the fact that it wasn't true. Obama was not in fact being a dick at that press conference.
