Lil Wayne: Tea Party Hates Obama Because He's Black

Lil Wayne isn't feeling hopeful about any of the candidates in the current Republican Presidential field. In a new interview with Vibe, he offers his take on Tea Party Republicans, and suggests that the Tea Party's disrespect for President Obama has more to do with his race than any of his policies.

"You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it," Wayne told Vibe. "I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn. Then look at yourself and ask ‘Am I the person they’re talking about or am I not?’ You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us."
