Woman upset over mother's flight phones in bomb hoax
By Jessica Dye

NEW YORK | Tue Sep 13, 2011 5:35pm EDT

(Reuters) - A woman concerned about her mother and brother flying on the eve of the anniversary of the September 11 attacks phoned in a bomb threat to an Arizona airport hoping to ground their flight, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

Mary Purcell, 37, was arrested by FBI officers at her home in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, on Monday, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn said. She was charged with making a false bomb threat and faces up to 10 years in prison.

Tucson Airport police received two calls on the morning of September 10 from a woman who said she had overheard her boyfriend and others talking about a threat to a Southwest Airlines flight to Albuquerque, New Mexico, according to a complaint unsealed in Brooklyn federal court.

7. Yes she used very bad judgement
But how can anyone blame her??
Politicians roll out fear of terrorists 24/7
The administration rolls out fear of terrorists 24/7
The media rolls out fear of terrorists 24/7

Everyone with any kind of power uses the fear
of terrorists to ask everyone to be afraid of everyone.
Homeland security has signs up in wal-mart telling people to
watch everyone for signs of terror.

Three people get pulled of a plane in Detroit and
strip-searched because of their color by police
and Homeland Security

The terrorists have won, and then people are amazed
when people overreact to all the fear they hear 24/7

8. So fear of terrorism justifies an ACT of terrorism?
Yeah, I sort of see your point and agree she was just nursing a really bad case of the terminal "stupids" but still. In this case, SHE created the act of terrorism.
