1. I honestly don't understand it - and they're giving the go ahead
to more nuclear facilities I think, too.

Aren't there European countries that rely primarily on solar/wind power? Why can't we learn from them?

2. I didn't realize there was such a large aquifer under the midwest
You would think all the inhabitants would be super vigilant about their water supply.

3. I always used to assume that "they" did what was in our
best interests, made sure everything was safe, wouldn't do something if it could be harmful. Now I know better but I'm thinking most people feel as I used to. You have to be vigilant to be aware, and most people don't have the time or inclination. :(

5. It's time to BAN all new oil projects, and begin phasing out all current projects
We will never kick our dependence on polluting fossil fuels if we keep enabling the problem.
