Teen who beat transgender woman in Baltimore gets 5 years in prison

Her (then) 14 year old accomplice is in juvenile prison and may stay there until she's 21.

1. I would have liked to have seen a longer sentence for the

older girl, but it's far better than the slaps on the wrist we see too often in cases like this.

I'd also like to charge that McDonald's employee.

These girls are lucky I'm not their Mother.

2. The victim sent the judge a letter saying she could not forgive as her pain right now is too great.

I'm thinking this may have been the maximum sentence.

I agree with you about McDonalds. They are not, in my view, blameless in all this.
