g.o.p. version of evolution: Let the poor & unfortunate just die off
In other words, republicans are the super race, the surviving race of those fortunate enough to have a good job, lots of savings, a large home and a fat family, living in an all white, safe neighborhood.

My brother is one of these new Christian republicans, he goes on facebook espousing how the poor should all go to hell, and how they are all just sitting around drawing welfare checks while 'decent' people like him have to work for a living. This drives him absolutely batshit crazy, because rush told him he's being ripped off by the poor, lazy blacks.

Make no mistake: this fantasy about welfare people buying new Cadillacs is 100% NAZI RACISM.

If this type of thinking runs it's natural course, the g.o.p. would actually begin 'ethnically cleansing' the poor and removing them from the streets once and for all. The unfortunate, like those in wheelchairs and those who've had bad luck feeding their kids, should be eliminated, either by starvation or just outright 'removal'.

All funding for the poor would cease. 'If they can't keep up with us well off white folks, then they can just fucking die'.

I was prompted to ask my brother, "Wasn't it Christ who said, 'fuck the poor, for they are only making it hard for the rest of us'?

If you encounter anyone who thinks like this, and still has the balls to call themselves a Christian, you'd better straighten them out, although I'm sure it's probably too late at this point.

8. I do. They are a tiny minority. They are definitely not the norm. And they don't fight back
against right wing faux Biblical ideas.

9. I have zero respect for right-wing American Christians. It's a hate cult. Regular Christians are ok

I don't share their beliefs, but they don't strike me as creepy. The right-wing, American Taliban Christians? I've lost a few friends to that style of thinking. it's like a zombie cult. they are completely different, and don't want to hang out with me now because I am not Christian. I have other Christian friends who aren't the RW, hating the gays/poor/immigrants type, and they are fine.

2. I'll never understand how someone with such an ugly view of others
can call themselves Christian. I know plenty of real Christians who donate time, energy, money, kindness to many causes ...... people like the above though are the worst kind of hypocrites .... and they're too stupid to know, or too brain-washed to care. Maybe both. I'm not sure what kind of reward they expect for that kind of hate.

3. Anyone espousing that in public, should nurse a wound.
That should gain them admitance to the world of the pathetic. Just try telling me that to my face. I am disabled. But they will all go first. Just try telling me to lay down and die. Just try.

4. The way the crowd cheered for a man to die should scare EVERYONE
I too am disabled and I am reminded of when the Nazis gathered up the disabled and EXECUTED THEM to make room for the more fortunate. And they consider themselves followers of Christ.

5. Jesus warned of imposters
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” - Matthew 24:24
