I'm not in a position to know...and I think few people are. Any evidence?

I have my own suppositions, and I think part of Obama's identity is the flexibility to be more like his opponents than his opponents expect. I suspect that this may disarm opponents and it surely would give him tremendous capacity for compromise.

It's exactly the temperament I'd want in a judge, I'm not sure it works very well with an intransigent republican party. But, then, I'm not certain anything would work with a party dedicated to obstruction.
