Erik Prince's company, Blackwater, resurfaces as a shoot-em-up video game you can play at home

Holland native Erik Prince may no longer be recruiting for Blackwater, but you can pretend thanks to a new video game he has licensed.

Prince, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, told CNN his father, Edgar Prince, inspired the creation of the game. “He taught me to appreciate the opportunities that America offers to innovators,” he said.

The game places the player – armed with real-world weapons – in a fictional North African town over-run by warlords and opposing militia forces, according to CNN.

Although he does not have time to play video games anymore, the founder of Blackwater said he set the “overall vision and mission for the game.”
