Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
I have heard so many times on this forum, and I have been guilty of it myself of only calling Democratic representatives to push through progressive bills or block damaging ones. If you think about it if we do that then the only ones calling the Republican representatives are the tea bagger types that just encourages them to continue to do what they are doing. no wonder they say things like, "the American people do not want us spending money to create jobs, we need to cut spending". That is what the people who elected them are saying when they call them. The progressives don't call because they think it would be a waste of time.

Can we try it different this time? Can we flood the republicans with messages from progressive who also have a vote in their next election? If 80% of the people who call Republican representative say they want them to pass the Obama jobs bill maybe they will just vote to pass it because they would be afraid of losing their jobs!

Don't assume it is fruitless to call a republican Representative. Remember that there are groups of tea baggers manning the phones and encouraging them to destroy this country. We have to fight back.

2. What does one call doing the same thing over and over again because it's good for your cronies?
And screw everybody else?

Republicanism.

3. Join me. I called my repuke today and let them know
exactly how I feel and what I think and what I demand.

I read an article that our state is number 3 in "food insecurity" or starvation. I asked what he was doing to create jobs. He gave me the "cap, cut, trade" crap and I told him what I thought of that idea. I then demanded to know what he was doing to create jobs. He gave another piece of shit answer. I told him what I thought of that and again demanded to know what he was doing to alleviate poverty and hunger. I then told what I thought about the obstruction of the greedy old pig party. I call frequently, but this report about starvation in my state is more than I can bear.

4. Let's keep repeating that mantra and maybe someday people will listen.
