Perry skips out on wildfires’ press conference

Republican presidential front runner Rick Perry is possibly facing criticism for his handling of Texas' wildfires.

According to Fox News, Perry skipped out on a scheduled press conference Saturday afternoon. There was no word on Perry's absence until after the event, when his office explained that the governor didn't want to make the audience wait around after the change of the event's location.

Perry attended a 9/11memorial service on Sunday and is scheduled to head back on the campaign trail on Monday. Although he has received some criticism for staying on the campaign trail while the wildfires occured in his state, Perry did decline to attend

1. Perry is unfit to govern, he cannot lead. He is a CEO.
Perry is a man who advocated secession in order to solve state problems. He rejected federal money and then accepted federal money to balance his fiscal woes instead of creating jobs and taking care of the sick. He cut the budget for volunteer firefighters and professionals in a state where brush fires are a real threat to life and property. He is sent literally while his state is burning.

3. None of his real estate investments are threatened
Why should he worry?

Besides, there's always prayer. It brings instant, magic relief!

4.  Governor Rick Perry Cut Fire Department Funding by 75%
Report: Governor Rick Perry Cut Texas Volunteer Fire Department Funding by 75%

Rick can not and does not want to answer any questions about cutting the funding for the people
who handle Texas' grass land fires.

8. I e-mailed Ed, Norman Goldman, Randi Rhodes, Rachel andq
Lawrence O'D about this. HOPEFULLY it'll get some coverage.

A few moments ago on MSNBC they were doing a piece on the financial ties behind his mandatory vaccination scheme -- glad that's getting some light.
