Who is going to watch the GOP debate tomorrow night? Did you watch the one last Wednesday? Was it
informative or was it just painful to watch?

1. I probably will.
I watched most of the last one.

Painful? I'd compare to to having your wisdom teeth extracted by a hammer.

2. What is the point of having them so close together??
Nothing has changed in the last week except a Jobs speech. And of course, they obviously will all hate it because it was socialism, communistic and laced throughout with Sharia law.

3. Well when the audience cheered at the number of executions ordered by Perry it was both painful and
informative.

4. I watched the one last week.
It wasn't really painful -- more amusing, I would say.

7. No and no, and here's why
I watched every single Democratic debate in 07--all dozen or so of them--because I felt it was my duty to really assess the candidates and figure out who to vote for in the Democratic primaries.

I won't be voting in the Republican primary, so there's really no reason to spend time listening to these jackasses. Republicans can decide, and then I will listen to the one they have chosen--not because I'll ever vote for him/her, but because it will be necessary to inform myself as to their positions. In the meantime, I can save myself a lot of ulcer-inducing nausea and just read reports and/or watch the highlight clips of these debates. Republican primaries are for Republicans. It's going to be Romney anyway (unless the Republican electorate is really stupider than even I can imagine.)

10. Would have watched it
but I only get a relatively few channels on my basic cable package. If the next several are on purely cable channels that one needs an extended package to get, I'll simply have to rely on accounts of the debate from websites, as I did with the last one.

16. Here's a live-stream link
You can watch all the major news channels online for free on your computer

http://www.rentadrone.org/msnbc-live-rockinroosters/

Look towards the top of the page on the link above
there are several CHANNELS listed.

The debate on Monday will be on CNN, I believe.

11. It is just free publicity of a high profile. The media should have tomatoes thrown at them.

13. Would be good to see Rick Perry live. I keep saying we dems should want him to win because
Obama would trounce him. But I should actually have seen him in a debate before I repeat that.

I'm pretty sure the President's jobs plan will be front and center in the debate.

After that, I've already seen the show.
