In acknowlegment of the day, here is an anniversary observation.

9/11 is a magnificent myth made of phyllo pastry: layer upon delicate layer of heroism, cowardice, selflessness, greed, innocence and cunning, all wrapped carefully around the hearts of a nation and baked to a crisp in the fires of patriotism.
