NZ naked rugby team exposed by Spanish women
http://news.yahoo.com/nz-naked-rugby-team-exposed-spanish-women-044629217.html

DUNEDIN, New Zealand (AP) — New Zealand's premier naked rugby team has been exposed.

The Dunedin-based Nude Blacks lost for the first time Saturday, beaten 25-20 by a clothed women's team from Spain.

The Nude Blacks — named for the country's elite All Blacks rugby team — played the exhibition hours ahead of Saturday's World Cup match between Argentina and England at the city's 30,000-seat Otago Stadium.

A more modest crowd of about 1,500 watched the all-male team get outclassed at the less prestigious Kettle Park by the visiting Spanish Conquistadores, who count a pole dancer, a teacher and a student among their number.

Cute girls. I bet they let themselves get tackled. :)

1. I'm sorry, having played rugby,
It is not a game you want to play naked. You're just asking for even more damage in a naked game than the normal amount you get playing clothed.

4. eh. The ancient greeks did activities just as physical in the nude
The word gymnasium traces its roots back to the ancient greek word for nude.

6. And then they developed protective outwear for those more violent sports.
Granted, rugby shorts, shoes and shirts don't seem like much protection, but every scrape, cut and friction burn that you can prevent by wearing clothing during a game is a good thing.

20. Really? Wrestling isn't high-impact hitting. Nor are field sports.

7. Few sports men play are improved by going naked.
And Rugby would probably be at the top of the list of no-no's.

New Zealanders are a crazy bunch though.

let's face it, ANY cup by the end of the game.

On the upside, it keeps you from getting blood all over your uniform.

16. In defense of the kiwis, it wasn't really a fair match-up: the guys were obviously going to be
distracted by all those pretty women on the field
