From August... 'Why Are We Letting Corporate Supremists Steal Our Democracy From Us?'
Why are we letting corporate Supremists steal our democracy from us?
Edited by Jim Hightower and Phillip Frazer
August 2011, Volume 13, Number 8

Only, this isn't a game. Barely six years into Roberts' tenure, he and his narrow majority have thoroughly politicized the Court. The one branch of our national government that was intentionally designed by the Founders to set the rule of law above politics has been turned into another political front group to advance corporate rule. The Constitution granted life tenure to the justices specifically so they could feel free to stand up to wealthy wrongdoers--particularly those avaricious business schemers who wanted to endanger the people's rule by establishing, as Jefferson put it, "the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations."

7. Another good reason
To make damn sure a republican does NOT get into the WH in 2013!

One of the main reasons why there is so much money being spent on the right, and why we candidates like Perry, is that big corporations, and the rich, want to make sure the judges stay slanted towards their views, and will keep on making decisions that will help them control everything! Can you imagine what it would be like if we got "more" right wing judges on the court?

This is something that everyone should be thinking about, because if more of them get on the court this country will be turned over to the corporations and things will really be bad for everyone else!
