Where's Tony Hayward?
Why, he's in N. Iraq in the Kurdistan region. He says the Kurds are the only ones who have to approve an oil agreement which ignores the fact that that they are still part of Iraq. He then goes sideways a bit and says that the Kurds will have a great deal of influence in the Iraqi parliament about oil deals.

So here we have the makings of a real clusterf***. If the Kurds do try to completely ignore decisions by the Iraqi Parliament, there will be hell to pay. The Iraqi government halted oil exports from the region for a year as it is, and they just resumed.

Tony better watch his step. I have an idea about who is backing him besides the obvious, but in the Mideast there are always wheels within wheels. Maybe he has already paid enough baksheesh in Baghdad and other paces to get it rolling. However, I am sure there are a lot of other players with different ideas.

Tony was promoted to he head of the biggest department: President of the Clusterf*** Division.
