Are you worried, Truthseekers, about the latest threats, allegedly from al Qaeda, to various high profile US targets on Sunday�s 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks? Does it rekindle fond memories of John Ashcroft�s serious announcements and detailed list of known al Quada plots, or Tom �Rainbow� Ridge�s color-coded terror alert charts? Or Raisin Brain�s request of postal workers, lobstermen, and bus drivers to watch for swarthy Muslims who might be lurking in your neighborhood?

Ah, those were the days. Turns out the Bush Administration itself was the most credible threat to our nation, now we�re suffering the aftermath of that devastating reign of terror. Including the economic morass that results from a combination of tax cuts for the wealthy, rampant corporate welfare and deregulation, and billions upon billions of America�s blood and treasure lost to the never-ending, unwinnable terror wars. What a legacy. What a decade. What a travesty.

Now President Obama is left with a task better suited to a mafia �cleaner� or sanitation worker than elected official � sorting and salvaging the debris and strewn garbage wrought by hurricane Bush/Cheney. Will Congress now heed the President�s call and pass his jobs bill, which is based on mostly Republican principles? Or will they continue to defy and spite Obama at the expense of American workers?
