I am considering changing my party affiliation....
actually adding a party affiliation since I am unaffiliated.
In my state, the GOP primary is closed.
I'm willing to bypass the dem primary in order to vote for the most repulsive GOP candidate.

2. if we aren't honest about what we want, how will parties/representatives know?
We vote for the lesser of two evils. Then expect the party to understand they don't have a mandate. They only won because they weren't the ugliest option on the ballot. If enough people cross over in one direction, why shouldn't the other party think they need to move that direction to faithfully represent their constituents.

Parties are scum, and just out for power not to represent us. But sometimes I can almost believe them when they say they are doing what the voters want. (Some representatives are great. But the parties keep them in line)

4. Don't forget that Stupid was rigged in for two long terms
Most of the stuff is there to rig in other rotten candidates, stupider ones, worse ones.

Voting for the worst candidate can indeed backfire. W was a JOKE. Then they cheated him into office...

6. They use those numbers to report party strength
If you want to help the GOP grow, this is a good plan.
