RED TAPE CAN BE CUT!!! During the Clinton Adm. California
had an earthquake which seriously damaged an important
highway. I cannot remember all the details but I was
impressed by Clinton's ability to cut to the chase.
Put it up for bid. What he expected including getting
the thing fixed promptly. They came in early in completion.
I am sure Californians remember much more about this than I.

My point is things can be made shovel ready real fast and
done efficiently when people put their minds to it.

1. Which makes the circumstances around the first stimulus even more frustrating.
If they had done it right we would be believers.

3. I-10. The contractor got a huge bonus for finishing early.
He was a local hero for as long as the LA attention span could offer him.
