Poll question: OK...got to ask. Who's afraid? Shakin' in their boots?
Had to post this, since it was the LEAD STORY on our local Raleigh news. Can't believe that the stale old fear card is being brought out of the dry powder to play....So....

5. I am afraid of the Super Committee.
I am afraid of what is happening to the social safety nets in this country. And angry.

6. I'm afraid the craptacular power grid will spread the outage to NM
and I'll have to spend the rest of the evening listening to CDs on battery, headlamp on, and spinning the balance of my painted sock yarn. Ordinarily this wouldn't be a problem, but my hands are a bit sore with the change in the weather.

The change in the weather is pleasant, though, fall has fell!

8. This is a notable anniversary,
and the threat is apparently at least credible. It should be taken seriously and the public informed. I really don't see how mocking helps.

I don't give a shit about terror alerts. I've already got as much anxiety as I can process.

14. I got over 9/11 a long time ago
I was freaked out for about 6 months and then proceeded to be a grownup and move on with my life.

More Americans die every year because of having no access to health care than died on that one day in 2001.
