A Republican response that surprised me.
From Facebook:

I have always voted Republican, but if Congress doesn't get off their high horses and get together on this jobs bill, I'm not sure the average American has a chance, no matter which party they support. Republican/Tea Party--quit acting like babies!

1. There you have it. This was not about parties. This was speaking
to the voters. Populism at its best, and the Republicans in that room know it. Not a single one is capable of such a speech. Obama won!

3. Good. That's just what Obama was shooting for. Get the people to light a fire under Congress.

4. I think if one could read the look on Boner's face during the speach...

One must realize that President Obama scored huge tonight for the American people. I dare the Repugs. to sit on their hands and not pass this bill.

6. Boner was either extremely irritated because he knew
Obama was saying all the right things or he was just sitting there becoming more and more determined to oppose anything and everything proposed by Obama.
