2. Thanks. Thought I'd post that link since the MSM's BS is not worth watching...
...and it shows how a Joint Session is without their punditry.

that the news coverage (CNN) focuses on who does not like Obama etc! What ever happened to coverage that explains why Obama is giving this speech!

11. I'm just sick, because it doesn't matter how logical he is anymore
It doesn't matter how much he reminds them they've voted for this in the past. It doesn't matter how obviously it will help employees/ers and in any way drive the private sector. It doesn't matter how much he hands over to them. They'll still obstruct and hate. I feel like I'm watching people trying to persuade an alcoholic to stop drinking. I can barely listen to anything he's saying. It feels pointless from the outset.

12. I like how he keeps hammering on the two themes of "pass it right away" and
how the Republicans back his plan also.

16. Of course it's their fault, and if it's not passed, they will lose so badly in 2012...
...that it will be a joke. He's boxing them in. It's brilliant.

21. Well it's "paid for" (I am sure that will be from cuts to the poor) Also it Takes even more from SS
funding and I am sure that will help when the time comes to cut benefits. Deregulation, another Republican favorite. Sounds like a "good" Republican plan to me, they really should vote for it. It will be in the best interests of the Kocks of the world.

22. Credit where credit is due. Pass this now!
I have been one of the most vocal critics of Obama, and I likely will remain critical, but on this area I agree with him. It doesn't go far enough, but it is a step.
