Just because it's funny, and I've tried it on some RWers and their heads blew up real good.

8. That's the only hitch.

The real one was a brilliant scientist. This one an ignorant fundamental moron. Otherwise, it's perfect.

11. Well he's like the bizarro version, from the Superman comics?
http://superman.wikia.com/wiki/Bizarro

"....a twisted sense of logic which typically manifests as a superficial "opposite" of anything Superman would do or say and a resultant speech pattern ("Me am going to kill you" would mean "I will save you" in Bizarro speech). Due to his imperfections, Bizarro is frequently a foe of Superman, but sometimes finds himself in the role of hero (in this case, an anti-hero)."

7. I heard that part of his answer but somehow it did not make any sense to me.
Of course, I was driving at the time.

How bad was it? He was not making any sense at all for me.

9. I didn't hear it, but from what I gather it is bizzaro land.

For some reason he thinks that he is on the side of science (Galileo's side) and that the people who are providing evidence of climate change are on the side that the church was on (ideologues).

To me it is exactly backward, but hey... maybe it is just me.

12. That made too much sense. I don't think it was that.

It was bizarre indeed.

He even mispronounced "Galileo". I remember that because at that moment I was taking a curb and at the same time he said "Ga-lee-lio" and I almost enter the wrong lane.

10. That's because it didn't make any sense. Irony!
Here's the way I see it. Perry also said that if we were to try and curb global warming, it would cost us our economy. There's also irony in that part alone. So the logic is that we can ignore global warming, and go full steam ahead, business as usual. The excuse is that it's all "unsettled science". You know, like those years when Galileo was "wrong". Neve rmind that he was proven correct, later.

13. Ok… I heard right.
I thought he was full of crap cause there is a lot of revenue that could be made from providing clean air. He was talking on how TX improved air quality through investment (as a benefit for jobs) but then said it would be bad for the economy? I mean… really? It is either good or bad… not both.
