The media seem to have decreed that it's down to a 2 person race for R nomination.

The media seem to have decreed that it's down to a 2 person race for R nomination.
My question is: between Romney and Perry, who is the bigger phony? If one of these men were to become President, it would
certainly be better for the country and world if it were the one who is a bigger phony, rather than a true believer
in the right wing nonsense they spout.

I didn't watch the debate. Do those of you who did come away with any notion of who might be the bigger phony between the two?

1. I don't trust the media decrees. According to them, McCain didn't stand a snowball's
chance in hell of being nominated for 2008. I think I'll stand back and see what happens.

2. A few weeks ago, Michelle Bachmann was the media darling
Who knows who it will be next month . I think Romney will be the nominee.

3. I think Romney is the bigger phony.
But Ponzi Perry screwed himself up.

Romney talks about Obama having no clue on how to create jobs, yet he offers more of the same trickle down economics with his jobs plan.

5. Look at it this way...
Much of the Repub base is conservative Christian. There is no way in hell they will nominate, or vote for ANY member of a "religion" they view as a cult. Which is how the Mormon church is viewed by them. Romney has maybe a 10% chance of winning the nomination.

7. I noticed that - apparently they get to decide who runs and then they
will do their damnedest to decide who wins. This is one area I would like to see the media be more responsible. Tell the whole story and let the listeners decide the outcome.

8. FOX news will choose their nominee. The rest might as well stop wasting campaign funds.
