We already knew about his Rethug policies, how in Texas he refused and sliced programs for the neediest children (and there are lists of his decisions elsewhere).
But just taking his answer to one issue last night showed the thought process he uses that results in bad conclusions.
When Mittens said that 98 out of a hundred scientists agree on climate change, GOODHAIR said (something like) so what, things were also considered to be "settled" when GALILEO came along.
Look how weirdly he juxtaposed the erroneous pre-GALILEO religious imposition to mean "settled" and the one scientific challenger as being the correct side of things, whereas in our climate issue it is science on the opposite side.
So for years he said he wasn't running, then went into this period of deciding that in itself by being late and somewhat prolonged made him look deliberative. And surely this seriousness meant he would modify his fringe policy positions. But then came last night and he was fringier than ever. And just who were those national Rethugs encouraging him to run?
He isn't appealing even to the TeaBaggers with his attack on Social Security. So who is he appealing to -- a tiny fringe group hard to identify. If that's all he wanted, what's the point of running? He's already gotten somewhat more than that by inflicting himself on Texas for 12 years, squeaking by once with 39% of the vote Thanks to Kinky FRIEDMAN and lucking out to squat in a Weak Governor system state where the title itself is mainly good for self enrichment.
So he wants the whole country to see him strut and swagger? I'm saying it ain't over, not down to him vs. Mittens. His counted-out primary mates now have the chance to be the anti-GOODHAIR vs. Mittens: That is, somebody who can be just a little less of a nutcase than him.
