Bad news peanut butter and jelly fans! The cost for making your sandwich is going up. Smucker is raising the price on Jif Peanut Butter as much as 30% this fall. Jelly prices are also expected to rise. And Phil Lempert at SupermarketGuru.com warns choosy Moms may no longer choose Jif. He talks to John Wordock.

1. I don't buy Smuckers and I don't buy Jif.
My peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are so cheap I would not consider complaining about their cost.

4. Actually, Kroger brand natural peanut butter is pretty good...
Nothing but peanuts and is easier than most to stir the separation (for some reason)... I haven't had anything but natural peanut butter in years.

14. All food costs have gone up -- and they are going up WAY MORE
Edited on Thu Sep-08-11 08:55 AM by SpiralHawk
...Anything you can do to begin producing your own food (clean food), and saving natural open-pollinated seeds -- is the very soul of wisdom. My advice: take positive, pro-active steps now.

The food scene is gonna get freaky, especially if the RepubliCons, Inc. get an even firmer chokehold on the USA.
