His 9-9-9 plan was bred in the boardroom and born on Easy Street.
Since it doesn't eliminate state and county "piggyback" sales tax, working class citizens would pay up to 20% tax on every thing they buy. Since we spend about 98% of our weekly pay, almost our entire income will suffer a tax. Add to that what I'll assume is a 9% tax on our meager income, and that leaves very little money left to buy the goods that a family needs. By the way, his plan would do away with all deductions for any taxpayer not armed with a team of tax attorneys. Leasing everything, like a fleet of vans including a nice Cadillac or two, home office furniture, and business equipment would help prevent overpayment for some.
In return he proposes to discard the Estate Tax on inheritances over two million dollars, and eliminate the dividend and capital gains taxes, so I guess we have that to console our fucking selves with.
I think it's more like Cain's 666 plan.
