Was Rick Perry drunk?
Seriously, he seemed a little... well, pickled ... at times tonight.

3. He's always like that and no, I don't think he's drunk.

To GOPers, he established himself tonight as a slightly crazy tough guy who will kick everyone's ass and has no problem executing people. They love that shit.

6. He struck me...
... as one of those guys who goes to work every day and manages to function while being constantly under the influence.

8. It could very well be. Us Texans know he doesn't do anything, so he doesn't have to manage.
He could be sloshed all the time.

4. How could we tell if he was? Would he say stupid things and make an ass out of himself?
Then drunk he was. And so were the rest of them, although John Huntsman was only 50%-75% inebriated.

7. That's what happens when he goes off script
...or is posed with a question he's not intelligent enough to answer...he mumbles, stumbles and turns into a puddle of goo.
