For Some Reason I Just Got This E-Mail From Congr. Joe Walsh......
I haven't a clue as to how I might have gotten on his e-mail listing. So I guess this is another Repug Congressman that will not be in the audience in D.C..

Here is the e-mail:

All – Tomorrow evening, Congressman Joe Walsh will be holding a forum to discuss the challenges facing small business owners. I wanted to make you aware of this event and was hoping you may be able to attend in order to share your first-hand knowledge of these issues. This is a great opportunity for you to speak with Congressman Walsh in this roundtable discussion on jobs, the economy, and President Barack Obama’s jobs speech to a Joint Session of Congress. A flyer is attached and we ask that you RSVP with our office in Fox Lake, IL. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thursday, September 8

6:00 p.m. CDT – viewing of the President's address

7:00 p.m. CDT – roundtable discussion

Prairie Center For the Arts (in the Lecture Hall)
201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg, IL (off of E. Schaumburg Road)

RSVP to erin.westphal@mail.house.gov or (847) 973-9341

Thanks so much!

1. Well, they can all stay home
Might as well.

And besides, the hall will smell better without them.

2. Oh, please, please, please--somebody ask him about his unpaid child support!
And maybe some other "family values"...

Nah, too much to hope for. I was thinking Congress is back in session?

5. I just got Political Carnival to cover your post...
Reps. Joe Walsh, Paul Broun to hold “forums” during Pres. Obama’s jobs speech, Sen. Vitter watching football

Earlier I posted reader Wiccaspirits’ account of her phone call to Rep. Joe Walsh’s office in which she questioned his comments about his not attending President Obama’s Thursday night speech (which is at 7 pm EDT). Here is one excerpt of the office’s response to that call:

Mr. Walsh does NOT represent the nation as a whole in congress, nor does he represent all of his constituents, he only represents the Tea Party, its members and its core principles. Mr. Walsh also does not believe that Obama is working and that he should be rather than talking to congress.

Then this came my way via @IanDavidB who linked me to Democratic Underground: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1894121

…E-mail:
