I heard a couple encouraging interviews on NPR this morning
The first was a business owner -- the interviewer asked if lower corporate taxes would help him hire, and he immediately said (paraphrase) "definitely not, I would need to see an increase in (customers) to hire."

The second was a trucker(?) in Nevada, asked about whether he was excited by Romney's jobs spiel, and his response was (again, paraphrase) "You know, we've already got a very low tax base and some of the most relaxed regulations here in NV, and our unemployment rate is still sky high"

People are open an alternative to GOP framing. They've seen that the whole "endless tax breaks for the rich and corporations" are not fucking working.

If the Dem leadership is willing to give them an alternative.

1. "If the Dem leadership is willing to give them an alternative"
and that is why America is going to hell at a rapidly increased rate!

4. "We're going the same direction, just slower" is *technically* an alternative...
but not a very compelling, or even very useful, one.

5. We need for the Dems to show us the fire in their belly, like the
Reps do. Our side doesn't seem to get fired up at anything, with the exception of Joe Biden the other day. We need more of that kind of showmanship.

6. "If the Dem leadership is willing to give them an alternative."
That is what I'm fighting for.
The Democratic party used to be an alternative.
The New Democrat Centrist Party?... not so much.

Thats the problem I have with Centrists.
They agree with Republicans too much.

Who will STAND and FIGHT for THIS American Majority?
Jim Hoffa & The UNIONS WILL!!
Will YOU stand with them?

You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their excuses.

Solidarity!
