5. I don't know what is worse, them getting a Hurricane or wild fires.
:shrug: But at this point a hurricane would at least take care of the fires.

2. I will have to keep an eye on 14. I have a sailboat race....
on the 17th in the Chesapeake Bay. If it follows the projected course things could get gnarly.

3. Actually it's not all that different from most years.
But because of how many states were impacted by Irene, people are now paying more attention then they had previously. For those of us living in Florida however, this is not unusual. As we say down here, "tis the season"....
