Toxic words in present political discourse... |
|
"Bi-partisan" - Don't say this. People see it as a weak and naive. It is a negative, not a positive, in today's political environment.
"Taxcuts" - Don't offer them. People have seen the damage done by taxcuts and would like to see a different solution.
"Free trade" - It's a loser. People have seen millions of jobs lost because of present trade treaties.
I'm sure there are other words that Democrats should steer clear from. They have become stigmatized.

1. Hate to get technical, but free trade has only cost American jobs |
|
It has created many many jobs for people living in other countries.

So where is the big gain? Now we're becoming as poor as third world countries. Just having a job isn't the end all. It can actually kill you. Have you heard of some of the conditions our own corporations make the people in other countries endure?
