any vets/med techs in the austin area
just got this from Austin pets alive. they are going to try and get into the fire area tomorrow to help any animals in need
if anyone has access to any of these med supplies please bring them to APA at 2807 manchaca (manchaca and lamar)

Tomorrow Austin Pets Alive will be trying to get permission to do triage at Bastrop with Friends For Life who are certified in Disaster Relief. They are coming from Houston with their trailer tomorrow! If anyone has lost pets you can email me at pass@austinpetsalive.org. If your pets were at your house we will need to know address, description of pets, and if they were inside or outside. If inside would you give us permission to break a window to go inside and get them out? We cannot promise we will even get to go or will be able to reply to all emails but we are going to try and gain access and do what we can! Please give me as many details in the original email as possible because we are getting hundreds per day and I cannot reply to everyone to ask more questions!

Dr. Ellen Jefferson will be going with us and we will be trying to give medical help to as many animals as possible. If anyone can donate medical supplies we could sure use them! Here is a list of what we need:

lactated ringers fluids
iv fluid lines
iv catheters- 20g, 22g, 24g
needles- 18g, 20g, 22g, 24g
