My local Teahadist
Edited on Tue Sep-06-11 11:07 PM by and-justice-for-all
I just did a search to see what the numbers were like for my local teahadies and the numbers are striking (because their so small):

No members listed here:
http://www.teapartypatriots.org/GroupMembers.aspx?groupId=cfaeff4a-2a03-4efe-8318-0e5ec313783c

Only 589 members on their facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Terre-Haute-TEA-party/59622198691

Only 10 people signed up on their blog page, which is not even updated:
http://thteaparty.blogspot.com/

The link below shows a list of Indiana "grassroots" organizations,
http://www.inteaparty.com/teaparties.htm

I just find that this tea bagger thing is a load of horse shit, if the numbers I see here in Indiana are any indication, then nationally they can not be much better. I also find it interesting that there are few signs around that show when their next gang-bang is, but it is no where to be seen on any of the above sites.

1. Freakin' Hoffa did them a favor. He should have never mentioned
them by name anyway. They were dying out. He gave them a boost.

3. If it wasn't for the Media, we wouldn't even know they ever existed.
And, by the way, Have you been discussing the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and terrorism with your friends and family or is that just more daily hype all week from your local broadcasters?

5. The Formula Used By The Media Is Really Quite Simple
The media is a for-profit business.
How do the make money?
They make money by selling advertising.
How do they sell advertising?
They sell advertising by convincing potential advertisers that their form of media is patronized by the public, ie: rating surveys.
And how do they score high in the rating surveys?
They score high by stirring up people and getting them to tune in as the result of creating anxiety, anger, fear, and discord in their lives that is caused by reading the stories that they proliferate.
What are their methods?
Make shit up. Deliberately state situations in a confusing manner. Use innuendo. Purposely leave out facts. Hiring writers who are junior college flunkies who never learned how to use the English language. By intentionally leaving information out of a story that would quickly explain a given situation, until the very end of the story, or else by leaving it out all together.

Do you folks believe that this type of thing only goes on at Faux News? No, the good folks at Faux are truly masters of the art, but every form of media practices it to some degree.

These are not the people I would ever buy a used car from.
So how do you find out what is really happening in the world?
You ask someone who has no profit interest in telling you the truth, as well as a total lack of bias in their thinking.
Finally, where do you find such a source?
Lots of luck.

6. of course it's horseshit. once they served their purpose the kock bothers pulled funding.
they danced well for their puppet masters with their fake outrage. Outrage that was against their own best interests.
