4. I have a loved one attending U of T at Austin. We drove out there

toward the end of August, and I flew back. Just about everything looked so dry and the heat was unimaginable.

She has told us recently the fires are about 30 miles or so from the campus. All you could think about was
rain, when is it going to rain.

12. We have fires in Houston and Anderson County.

Fire today in Percilla, 8 miles NE of Grapeland.

Fire in Crockett, that has 80 firefighters working on it, and it has jumped U.S. Hwy 287 twice (the main north south highway in these parts).
